A Question, how much web space does a website need? It really depends on if your using a pure HTML / CSS template Or maybe your using a CMS like the popular WordPress platform.

We recently built a website for a small business using a modern pre-built html / css web template and even after adding a number of pages with images, the storage needed was only 17MB.

Did you know that a standard WP install with no extra templates or plugins is only around 75MB?
Conclusion
Sometimes it pays to look at the size of files uploaded to see how much space is being used as some web hosts will give discounts if you don’t require lots of storage.
